Lohei at Si Chuan Dou Hua
So I always end up trying new places whenever I meet up with foodies Ade and Puey. We had a reunion lunch at the Tian Fu Tea Room by Si Chuan Dou Hua during Chinese New Year About two months ago, and it was glorious.
How so? You may ask. For starters, Tian Fu Tea Room is located on the 60th floor of the UOB Building, providing a spectacular view of the Singapore skyline. Secondly, the Yusheng is hands down the best I’ve had to date. Thirdly, we were served two kinds of tea during our meal (Huang Shan Mao Feng green tea and Red Robe oolong tea), and I do love tea. Lastly, the presentation on the dim sum was just so pretty! I’m salivating just looking at these pictures.
Prosperity Salmon Yusheng with Crispy Fish Skin.
The fish skin and biscuits were so soft and crispy! The fish skin was such a great complement to the salmon. I couldn’t get enough of this.
Steamed Chives Dumpling with Golden Flake.
Steamed Minced Prawn with Seaweed.
Steamed Rice Cake in “Teochew” Style.
Steamed Vegetarian Bun with Mushroom.
I’m opening the bun in here for the picture because I tend to grab the food first. Everything was so delicious! XD
