Bag (This)
I wore a casual outfit to one of the neighbourhood malls with Ottie one evening. Singapore had been pregnant with the humidity of rain droplets yet unrealised, so it was a little trickier than usual to dress for the sticky outdoors and frigid indoors. I decided to go lightweight with a chiffon top, shorts, and a pair of sandals, because I figured that I could depend on Ottie being warm enough for me to siphon heat from. Heh. We caught the new Avengers movie and argued about it on the way home. It was a lazy evening.
This clever tote bag was designed by one of the many creative people at the library. I love how literal it is at first glance, but upon closer inspection the word ‘bag’ changes from a noun to a verb with the addition of ‘this’. I have a general aversion to wearing readables or brand names, but the wordplay here makes it one of the exceptions. And guess what, I’ve also been using it to transport the few books that I’m retaining in my diminishing collection in light of the big move. Things are on a roll here!
