Too Cool for School
Too Cool for School is a quirky Korean brand of skincare and makeup that launched in Singapore last year, and I had the pleasure of getting my hands on some of their goodies thanks to VanityTrove a while back. I loved everything- the trove contained a makeup pouch illustrated by Anke Weckmann, a Dinoplatz pop-up mascara that came packaged in the cutest pop-up card (major points since I collect pop-up books), and a Jean George Llong sunblock that doubles as a makeup base… don’t let the provocative half-naked man on the bottle fool you- it has nothing to do with achieving a sculpted figure.
Thank you VanityTrove and Too Cool for School ♥
Speaking of school, I recently recounted childhood memories regarding my time in kindergarten, and let’s just say that I’m amazed at myself for having somewhat adapted to the stresses of society after all those formative years pointing to my lack of ability to do so (largely due to debilitating shyness and an exceptionally poor memory). School was a terrifying beast in my early years. I would never claim to be too cool for school, but at least I came out of the system fairly unscathed.
I unearthed this pair of fork & spoon earrings that I made about four years back. They were purposely made to be uneven, I believe in an experiment to see how long I could go with lengths. I also uncovered so many boxes of jewelry-making stuff that it’s pretty exciting to know what I would be getting back to once I find the perfect pair of pliers that wouldn’t try to give me tetanus.
