Chan + Hori Contemporary: Sick Scents
I recently had the honour of getting in touch with Bradley Foisset, an artist with whom I had met a few times at work. Bradley had just started working at Chan + Hori Contemporary and extended an invite for me to visit their exciting lineup of exhibits. I gladly welcomed the opportunity to take my camera out for a spin – after all, who could say no to when presented with a chance for a private tour? Tokyo Art Center: Alfons Mucha & Yayoi Kusama
I’d been meaning to take an outfit photo at this reflection-gasmic structure leading to Shibuya Mark City that Ottie and I would pass by to and fro our lodgings. It’s a busy walkway, especially in the day, but I wasn’t going to let embarrassment get in the way of my vanity. On a side note, the mirrors reminded me of a short wordless comic I drew in school so long ago. Perth: Murals & Elizabeth Quay
Last year, I made a spur decision to visit Kooling of Beads & Blossoms in November for an extended weekend. I dragged Ottie with me and we caught an early morning flight to Perth. A cat nap later, we managed to muster the energy to follow Kooling, our host and guide for our trip, to some interesting places. Brunch at Uncle Joe’s Mess Hall.
