Shadow Dance
This all-black outfit was not entirely of my choosing, seeing as it was part of a backstage rehearsal thing that happened a while ago. I didn’t have a black top that wasn’t printed, so I had to make do with tucking in my trusty tunic dress into an old, comfortable pair of cotton pants. The pants have since lost their elasticity (thanks to the ravages of time and the washing machine), but tying my knit cardigan around my waist as a belt seemed to do the trick. I’m glad it worked despite the mish-mash of item choices.
My favourite thing to do has always been to capture motion in my outfit photos (see here & here). With Ottie being more or less a constant recently, it’s been more convenient to do just that. It’s always interesting to see fabric move just so, creating the most unlikely silhouette. Here be jumping shots:
These are just too much fun!
