September’s Virgin
My birthday was on the second of September. It fell while I was in the middle of my vacation in the midwest, a glorious expanse of land, fields, and lakes. For a girl born and bred in the city, this was the stuff of dreams. This day was a small and pretty much inconsequential affair – just the way I’d have it (partly because I’m that lazy). No cakes, no singing, just wandering through old farm equipment in an attire entirely inappropriate to the event. I’ll post about the steam threshers after this!

I absolutely love that wreath! I remember making them with my family when I was little and this just brought back some lovely memories, although yours is much nicer than the wildflower ones we used to make!

Thank you Caroline! I’ve never made wreaths before (I don’t even know how to make friendship bracelets), so this was a novelty to me. I’d love to have been able to make some with wildflowers though! They sound like great memories. :D
