I mixed some nice clothing combinations last week, and so ‘outfit of the day’ photos had to be taken at the plain white wall right outside my door. This was done in the morning, with light streaming in from my right. Natural light is the best! Perhaps it’ll be motivation for me to wake up earlier in the mornings to take outfit photos before heading to work… once I get the house settled, that is:
Orange and blue make such a striking complementary pairing! I liked how the top brought out the smart in ‘smart casual’, as well as how its smooth texture juxtaposed against the rough denim of my jeans.
This next outfit was taken under fluorescent lighting at night. I fell in love with how comfortable this pair of denim cropped pants is, which I got at a Muji sale. I’m still figuring out how to best pair it with the tops that I currently own without looking too slobby though:
Anyway, it’s started to drizzle in Singapore again, which reminded me that I still had one more outfit photo that I hadn’t yet published. This was taken the day before I had to give a talk on webcomics, in which a break from agonising over my deck of slides for coffee with Ottie turned into meeting new people over beer downtown.
I’m certainly the kind of person who welcomes all opportunities to procrastinate.
This was the second time that I’d had the regrettable misfortune of wearing this pair of shoes in the rain. I wore them days later after letting them dry out, and they seemed to have hardened?! Was there cardboard in its manufacture?! Learning how shoes and clothes are made should really be a mandatory thing that kids learn in school, along with how a car works and first aid. :p
