Singapore 2016: Blossom Beats at Gardens by the Bay

I dragged Scott along to see the cherry blossoms at the Gardens by the Bay. It was my first time seeing cherry blossoms, and I was so excited! Tickets for just the Flower Dome, one of the two cooled conservatories at the Gardens by the Bay is SGD $12 for a citizen and $16 for a foreigner (standard ticket). Not bad considering that we were under the impression that standard tickets could only be bought in a bundle of 2 conservatories at $28 according to the website and signs on the ticketing office.

Make sure to check it out before Singapore is deprived of beautiful pastel blooms! Looks like the gardens will extend their opening time to 10pm this long weekend to accommodate the crowd, and according to RQ whom we bumped into (she’s working part-time there over the school holidays), last weekend was no joke; I can only imagine what this finale weekend will be like… it’s still so worth it though, even if it’s just a taste of what it’d be in places like Japan, Korea, etc. during sakura season.

Anyway, no words; only plant pictures.
