Australia 2016: Day Trip to Fremantle

We took a train to Fremantle on our second day in Perth. So many interesting sights and what a creative, laidback vibe!

Perth train station where we boarded our train to Fremantle.
Their trains are so spacious.
Arrived at the Fremantle Railway Station.
Loved this Star Wars parody.
I made sure not to miss out the sketches on the ground!
Esplanade Hotel.
Paper Bird Children’s Books & Arts bookstore was such a fun little place to browse their selection of books.
St John’s Anglican Church had a pretty nice area for hanging out at.
Public benches were adorned with succulents. I love the thought that goes into making public areas usable and beautiful here.
We had brunch at Moore & Moore Cafe.
Our brunch.
Rescued a yellow ladybird from under Scott’s thigh.
We explored a concept store called MANY.
The Cubby House Project was so cute and fun!
I’d love this rocking chair. Photo by: Ling.
We got peckish after all that exploring and headed to the Fremantle Markets in search of food.
Levi’s Doughnuts.
I also got myself a Mango & Passionfruit 100% fruit popsicle from there.
Scott and I were pretty excited about coming across biltong after our trip to South Africa.
Took too many photos in a pretty park.
Wearing GU sweater, Blend denim jacket, Forever 21 shorts, Fossil backpack, Steve Madden boots. Photo assist: Scott.

We ended our day at Fremantle at this cool little place called Little Creatures.
I liked how clean and simple the menu was considering it offered food and booze.
We got a pizza to share. It was delicious.
We managed to miss the last bus back to Ling’s home after taking the train back to Perth, but the walk back offered such a beautiful view.
The uphill climb up was pretty strenuous though.
I noticed this ‘Hail Bus‘ gem and outdid myself by making this joke.
