Monochroma Home
The jubilee weekend is finally over! The country trudges on as usual after the long weekend’s festivities, because that’s just what we do. Hey, my first day back at work ended at 9pm (due to an exhibition that took the entire day to set up oh my word). I’m such the model worker ant.
This spot is getting to be my go-to place for outfit photos, not just because it’s incredibly convenient, but also because I love the expanse of white on white; from the stairs to the white-washed buildings in the background. These cookie-cutter housing blocks are definitive of the landscape in Singapore. We live in pigeon holes, and we complain about it, but that’s what home is to me.
Little-known fact: I’m kinda severely pigeon toed.

This outfit with this backdrop just goes! I think such block apartments are very Singapore too, it’s packed and metropolitan but that’s Singapore. But it takes a real great eye to see the beauty in the little things ;)

Love everything about your outfit…I love the monochromatic look…black and white…… with a bit of color in your shoes…… I think you might actually be one of the few people that wear tights even more than I do. I wear my tights on campus (I”m a dance major) usually with shorts…… sometimes I wear a big sweater over leggings or tights too. I must have like 20 pair that don’t wear for ballet. For me ballet dance wear is boring…the traditional black every day.
I will follow your blog. You’re such an inspiration to me.
