Li Bai Dim Sum & Princely Treasures
Nature Valley dolman top + Zara skirt + Trendyzone mary janes (gifted)
Ade had a ball with my derp face while Puey came to my rescue. XD
It felt so good being back home where all the stuff I own were right here waiting to be re-discovered. I found my pair of heart-shaped sunglasses and knew that I had to wear them once again. It’s been so long! I’ve missed every element in this outfit this past couple of years… unfortunately, the shoes that were left behind bore the brunt of my neglect when I lived in LA; three of them died in the span of a week when I got to wear them again, and this pair of mary janes was one of them. Well at least I had a good run of them for the day.
I met Ade for dim sum at Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant at Sheraton Towers before meeting up with Puey. Ade and I were pleasantly surprised when our server pointed out that they could serve us two items on the plate instead of the usual three.
Egg tarts- my favourite dish whenever I have Dim Sum.
Ade got me this mysterious compass/sun dial thing from her trip to Europe. The instructions are all in a language I don’t understand though…?
Satisfying my craving for bubble tea in Singapore at Gong Cha.
Dinner was at Skinny Pizza at a completely foreign extension at Plaza Singapura. Seriously, I didn’t know that place could even expand any more.
The Truffle Fries at Skinny Pizza were so delicious!
And then I had to get myself another cup of bubble tea from KOI, just because.
We headed to the Princely Treasures from the House of Liechtenstein Exhibit at the Singapore National Museum. The exhibit was free at night, in conjunction with this year’s Singapore Night Festival. We even caught a couple of aerial performances by Compagnie Retouramont, who performed with some pretty cool rhythm and visuals on the facade of the Singapore National Museum.
Close-up of a painting by Jan Brueghel.
