How Do I Look Asia Season 2 Premiere Party
I dragged Ottie along as my plus one to the How Do I Look Asia Season 2 premiere party over the weekend, thanks to an invite by Clozette. This was held at the atrium of Bugis+, and the makeover booths were completely free for the public. Cool beans!
Ottie fitting in to be a DIVA.
The glitter tattoo booth seemed the most hassle-free with no queues, so we went there to get ourselves some bling first:
I got a rainbow fairy. Let me just note that my glitter arm candy is staying strong on its fourth day now.
I also queued up for a free manicure from The Nail Palace! They had 20 shades of OPI nail polish to choose from, and Ottie helped me to choose the shade that best matched my lips and top.
There were also makeup and hair styling booths, but IÂ wasn’t in the mood to share face and hair oils with strangers, so we left them alone. Those two were very popular booths though!
The photobooth by Cheese Effects was good fun. Four photos would be taken six seconds apart, and not only did we take away a printout, we were also emailed a video with an animated gif!
Met up with Jodulu who was still a pretty mermaid even on land.
Double date photo. Gord is a chef! I requested for Ottie to consider his career path as I can’t eat English.
I finally got the opportunity to grab some outfit photos at this iconic Keith Haring inspired mural in town. Unsurprisingly, this is another piece by the Social Creatives, which I mentioned here. They do some cool stuff!
Anyone following me on Instagram Stories has probably seen last Friday’s mail, and I was so excited about wearing this maroon top from Shein that I didn’t wash it before putting it on. I know, it’s a terrible habit, even though I only make this exception for online purchases; store-bought pieces go straight to the washer because I do not want to play host to whatever microbiota would be transferred from strangers who previously tried them on…
Anyway, I also draped on this Topshop soft tailered blazer which fit like a glove. I never knew that blazers could be so comfortable! I hope I’ll never need to wear colour-restricted blazers at work now because this is olive green beauty what I’ll be wearing for a blazer forever. FOREVER.
Yay it was a long day but we made it through.
Here, have a rare photo of Ottie derping around during lunch. Finally managed to get my stealth mode on!
