Curious Cat Claws
It’s been a very long while since I last took out my tripod, but Ottie had been feeling under the weather lately, so I had no choice but to go back to the ‘primitive’ technology that I’d been using prior to coercing friends and family to be my tripods. 😂 I actually prefer not using the tripod – it’s heavy, setting it up is tedious, and it takes longer for me to switch between different framed shots. However, what’s great about it is that I have more control over the composition and the oppotunity to make animated gifs without it looking like an earthquake is happening. It felt pretty nice to be shooting on my own again, to be honest.
I initially thought that this outfit would be really comfortable, considering the muted colours and loose fit. And it was… except for the fact that I wore this to work and didn’t realise until too late that I was flashing my very pink bra (in the front – I don’t really care if it shows in the back) to anyone who wasn’t already blinded by the afternoon sun. I ended up covering myself with my shawl like a nun in the office because there were way too many kids running amok, too young to understand the meaning of the word ‘modesty’, while hawk-eyed parents potentially judged my sartorial choices.
I kid. The parents were very nice people.
Very proud of myself for successfully coaxing this shy kitty for pettings!
