Batam Day 4: Sunken Pool Bar
This was our last day at Batam. It was sad for our little getaway to end so soon, but at the same time the hustle and bustle of the city was calling to this city girl heart of mine.
We had requested for a late checkout at Harris Waterfront Resort for an additional 200,000 IDR (SGD 20) when we first arrived, expecting our lazy bums to rouse past noon on the last day, same as always. We visited the sunken pool bar one last time, snagging it for ourselves since most hotel guests had presumably already left in the morning. It was a good time for some uninterrupted digital memories.
View from the sunken pool bar.
One last taste of the thin-crusted pizza we loved so much at the cafe. However as luck would have it, this was the only time the pizza turned out overly hard. :(
Meal done, we left our luggage with the very kind concierge while we went back to the small beach for some last-minute outfit photos:
Goodbye Batam, it was a pleasure staying there!

I adore that shot of you sitting on that table. So fierce and powerful somehow! (Don’t ask me why, I’m not so sure myself) Hope you’ll visit Indonesia again sometime ;)
