There’s a Storm Brewing
It was one of those lazy days when the storm clouds hung low and ominous. Despite the grey skies, Ottie and I wanted– nay, needed, to get some fresh air before the skies opened up in all its tropical rainstorm glory. We go stir-crazy cooped up in front of our computers sometimes. We settled for a quick stroll at a nearby park, and of course I had to throw in an outfit shoot, because why not.
I love how consumed nature becomes in these small public park spaces. There wasn’t even a problem of scary bugs and critters there; I think they were hiding in preparation for the rain that would soon deluge their environment. Meanwhile, I am the giant that jumps and runs all over the grass with a giant fallen leaf.
The best thing about being me is that I don’t have to wear a bra if I don’t want to… as long as I wear something thick or noisy enough to detract from those inconvenient pointy bits. I still remember the first time I wore a bra and how difficult it was just trying to breathe; it’s quite amazing how the body gets so used to constricting clothing.
… Was that too much candor? Meh. If there’s no harm in being blunt, I don’t see why I have to expand precious energy to play mind games beating around the bush for something so inconsequential. Human interactions are hard and I’m easily stressed enough as it is. But hey, running about in a grove of trees is pretty good for the soul (and body).
Flatlay of sorts. These awesome ankle socks don’t get their fair share of photos as they’re always hidden in my shoes.
