The Rose Brooch

I’ve always been a little wary of brooches, preferring not to poke holes into my clothes, but I finally found the perfect piece to pin a brooch to. This cardigan features a perforated pattern that seems to make it okay for me to induce two extra holes in it, and it doesn’t hurt that the rose brooch is delicately-lined with gold and so it’s great as a temporary fastening to the orange outer. I’m going to pretend that it’s a very pretty button now.
