    I’m mixing prints in this outfit for work here. I’d never have thought that they’d go so well together until I half-stumbled into my wardrobe and came out in these that morning, but hey, forming surprising new looks with existing pieces is one of the best things about owning separates. As I’ve said once before, patterns usually go pretty well together as long as the colours complement each other, so I guess I got away with it in this outfit.     Clip Clop Silhouette

    Here I am once again in my favourite equine print blouse. Personally, I feel that obvious prints require some breathing space in between outfits for each remix to feel different; it gets a little tiresome if I wear them so quickly in succession. Solid colours or subtle prints I have no problem with, but the eye-catching ones tend to have a particular character to them. This blouse is one of them. I thought that the black trimmings and mandarin collar lent to the blouse a classy look, transforming my getup into a cute party outfit once I paired it with a short flare skirt and oxford heels. I guess I couldn’t help but be a little more put-together…

    School Days are Blue Days

    I recently crafted my own work lanyard using a cute Usavich card holder Shasha gave me, some beads, and a shoestring, and decided to complement my new accessory by wearing spots of blue in my outfit. It’s been a while since I’ve gone to school, but learning about the ways of a new work environment does feel like I’m in one sometimes. I’m so grateful that they’re not a stickler for dress codes though! It would be a bummer if I had to repopulate my wardrobe with tons of weird office wear I’d never wear.
