    Gapyeong: Nami Island & Home

The morning of our trip to Nami Island brought snow, fat fluffy snow!!! It was the fluffiest I’d seen in all my (almost) 29 years of life living in summer. I was so happy. Here’s a video I posted when it happened. So. Fat. And. Fluffy. Ahhhhhh..!!! The morning sun and the bus we took to get from Seoul to Gapyeong. We were very grateful to the owner of Hotel Bonbon for organising this bus trip for us; their service was really the best thing of staying there! Seoul: Dongdaemun Design Plaza

Dongdaemun Design Plaza, with its smooth futuristic and alien-like surfaces, had been on my must-see list ever since I found out that Seoul Fashion Week was held there. It’s just too bad that we arrived one month too early. In any case, I had fun pretending otherwise. My pink Viparo leather jacket is the highlight of my outfit again amongst all the muted blues, blacks and greens. I wore it slightly differently this time, fastening one of the snap buttons from one side to the other. I just love how many looks I could create with it! Going back to hot & humid Singapore has been a sad affair ever since…

    Seoul: Itaewon & Myeongdong

Continuing on from writing about my trip to Korea… we went to Santorini, Greece!! Nah, this was just a mural on one of the subway stations in Seoul. I love when subways dedicate spaces for art. It makes the daily commute much more colourful during drizzly days such as these: Peeling off the layers for sunny skies and blue waters. Whoosh! We stayed at Hotel Bonbon during our stay in Seoul this time round. Ottie had stayed at Hotel Bonbon before, but couldn’t remember its name besides the fact that he loved talking to the owners. To his delight, we spied Hotel Bonbon situated right across Lotte Hotel when we lodged there…
