    Anime Eyes From Lens Circle

    I’m no stranger to cosmetic contact lenses, having favoured splurging on purple pupils since my teens. So when Lens Circle contacted me for a review of their lenses, I thought it was a great opportunity to try out the areas of cosmetic lenses that I’ve never ventured into before.     Day Trip to Mahabalipuram

    Happy lunar new year! I’m starting the lunar calendar documenting the final day of Shasha’s and my trip to India last June. We spent it revisiting asian art history via a day tour to Mahabalipuram. This trip was booked at the service counter at New Woodlands Hotel the previous day, which included a private car rental to shuttle us directly from the hotel to wherever we wanted to go.     Monsoon Wedding in Chennai

    I had the privilege of attending a wedding in Chennai a few (read: six) months ago. Shasha’s friend Divya held a traditional Brahmin wedding ceremony there, and Shasha didn’t want to travel to India alone, so I jumped at the chance of this pilgrimage of sorts. The both of us had never attended an Indian wedding before either, so this was an experience of firsts for the both of us.
