    Oh man, I’ve finally come to the conclusion of my trip to South Africa with Ottie last year! This last post took months to write, and by write, I actually mean organise-my-photos. Our last three days in South Africa were spent completely disconnected from all online activity and living on a schedule that consisted of sleeping at 10pm and waking up at 5.30am.     Kruger National Park: Rhino Post Safari Lodge

    I’m nearing the end of writing about my trip to South Africa last September. The last few days were spent nestled in the middle of Kruger National Park, totally unplugged from the rest of the online world. It was a pretty refreshing period of my adult life, though I wish we had the foresight to learn that before embarking on a domestic plane from Joburg to Skukuza.     Joburg

    The city of Johannesburg, or Joburg for short, was a mere one-evening stopover for Ottie and me. We had originally allocated 3 days for this city, but booked a safari for ourselves when we were in Cape Town – which was such a last-minute thing that securing the best option for a safari was a feat for the Cape Town agency who had to work around our flights in and out of Joburg.
