    Hi I’m back from a sudden hiatus I decided to take over the past week. I say ‘decided’, but what really happened was that I was absorbed in three? four? books to actually do some photo-editing/writing of my own; time seems to flow weird when I get too obsessed with consuming words. It’s been a happy few days escaping into fantasy worlds in my head, and I’m glad for the mental reprieve. I haven’t felt so recharged in so long.     The Empty Amphitheatre

    There’s an amphitheatre nearby that’s usually empty. I took a fancy to the textured walls and somehow managed to coerce Ottie into taking the short trip down for an outfit shoot one day. Heh heh heh. This was what I wore to work: my pants phase was still pretty strong at this point, and I enjoyed putting together a neutral colour palette mimicking the soft, comfortable textures of each item.     I received this pair of ultra soft rayon pants as a guest gift when I attended an Indian wedding a month back. I don’t think I’ve ever owned ethnic prints like this, so I guess this was a first for me? Toned the loud prints down with some neutrals for a lazy date downtown – I don’t even remember why we’d ventured to this area in our quest to find some comfort food. But hey, we had fun.
