    Jelly Baby Family

Having an outfit photo taken at the colourful Jelly Baby Family sculpture by Mauro Perucchetti was something that I’d wanted to do for a while. This sculpture is part of a collection of artworks commissioned or bought by CapitaLand, which owns quite a number of properties in Singapore. I had the luxury of attending a couple of art tours led by Mr Francis Wong a couple of years ago when I first joined my current job – boy did it open my eyes to the varied pieces that can be found island-wide. Creature of Habit

I originally titled this post “That Nun Dress” before realising how wonderfully punny the current title is. I wanted to write a bit about the thoughtless grind of taking outfit photos for my blog simply for the sake of creating content. Interestingly, the dress featured in these three outfits is what Ottie calls my “nun outfit” – it’s long, black, and I should stop right there because I just found my mind in the gutter. Anyway, I’ve been thinking for a while now about steering this space into something with more intent. Simple outfit photos against a backdrop usually doesn’t compel me to write anything substantial anyway, so what’s the…
