    It’s been a very long while since I last took out my tripod, but Ottie had been feeling under the weather lately, so I had no choice but to go back to the ‘primitive’ technology that I’d been using prior to coercing friends and family to be my tripods. 😂 I actually prefer not using the tripod – it’s heavy, setting it up is tedious, and it takes longer for me to switch between different framed shots.     Gentle Visuals: Fune wo Amu

    This was a quick outfit photo for work a while back, taken with my new phone – I’m still testing the limits of its camera, but it definitely doesn’t compare to my dSLR in the colours it produces. However, the phone is about ten times lighter, so it suffices when I’m too tired to lug the big one all over the place after work.     Whoever said that recent mobile app sensation Pokémon GO would motivate people to be more active obviously didn’t consider lazy bums like me. Case in point: I tried to catch pokémon from my bed the entire first night the game made itself available in Singapore, even though there were lures galore just a block outside my apartment going on past midnight.
