Red Black White New Year
I’m skipping my travelogue to Korea and doing a fast-forward to last week when I arrived in time for the second day of the Lunar New Year. Red is the colour to wear during the festive period, but I really wanted to don my new black & white purchases from Zalora (Black and white aren’t the most auspicious colours). Any possible ill fate was slightly mitigated by a couple of red accessories. As superstitions go, my family is generally pretty easy-going; all the better for me and my burgeoning monochrome obsession.
Ottie had a hand in this outfit, picking out the red accessories and hairstyle (he insisted on the two pigtails). It’s fun when there’s someone to style with, bouncing coordinating ideas off one another and trying new stuff. Will this be a portent for the rest of the year? Only time will tell. :)
Ottie’s outfit of the day. It’s a habit of mine to randomly buy shirts for him.
