
Of Pineapple Tarts & Ryan’s Last Day
The upside about living with someone who loves cooking is that you get fed everyday. The best part of it is when she makes pineapples tarts from scratch for Chinese New Year. That’s right, we’re talking about doggedly smashing a pineapple in a bowl with your bare hands scratch.

The next day was Ryan’s last day at the office. We had to foil his plan of leaving quietly by making a fanfare about it; he actually never told us that he was leaving until the week of! But first, lunch:
Apparently this is the only documentation of Ryan’s beard that he kept for the last week he was here- He once mentioned how he didn’t like not being clean and unshaven, so I suspect he grew it out in part to humour us, in particular Deb, who named it Velcro, the office pet. She’s crazy like that. XD
