Marina Del Rey & Venice Beach: Balloona Creek, Fried Pizza & Skates
I lost this pretty pair of extremely reflective sunglasses during my first rollerblading foray with Deb after a little more than ten years. Needless to say, I was horrible at having wheels on my feet. Puberty has not been kind in relocating my center of gravity. Also, I seem to be much more wimpy now that I’m older. T^T
Deb’s a pro at black and white. XD
Balloona Creek is quite a scenic place, even with the rows of houses lining it. You know it’s a posh place when every house looks different. XD
Deb was intrigued by the notion of fried pizza, so we went down to Venice Beach to get ourselves some for dinner:
Tokens while waiting for food at Venice Beach.
Deb with a cup of Horchata and our tokens.
We also got Funnel Cake! I’d always thought that funnel cake looked more like cake… ^^;
Fried pizza looks like something out of an anatomy class, but it actually was pretty heart-stoppingly delicious. We got them to halve our slices so that we could try both pizzas.
And then we brought our food to eat in front of the famous Venice Beach skate park as the sun set. =3
