Inglot x Zalora

I was lucky to be one of four people chosen to have a makeover done at the Inglot x Zalora event at Zalora’s pop-up store at One Raffles Place a couple of days ago. I was very excited to be trying out this Polish brand, but as someone who doesn’t care much for physical contact with strangers, this was also a little unnerving. My worries were unfounded, as the people were really nice and my makeup artist fed me lots of beauty information and tips. Whadd’ya know, I came away with defined eyes and makeup knowledge. (Plus a happening Snapchat Story – find me @pupuren!).

Goodies from Inglot x Zalora makeover event.Makeup goodies from the event! Am looking forward to trying out these Inglot items: Nail Enamel #228, False Lash Effect Mascara, HD Perfect Coverup Foundation. (Also, a sneak peek at this pretty necklace + earring set from Dressin too!)

Outfit photos were had at this gorgeous background Ottie and I stumbled upon while shopping. I couldn’t help it, Topshop has been having this provocative sale (up to 50%!), plus an additional 15% off the total bill for members. Am ashamed to admit that I’ve patronised their store thrice now in the past week… but hey, at least I had the excuse of using this Topshop gift card I won!

I’m sporting this beauty of a bowling bag from Dressin. It’s so deceptively spacious that I even fit a 13″ laptop in it one day – perhaps also an allusion to my packing prowess eh? Black has been making its way like a slow disease through my wardrobe lately, as I’ve mentioned a while ago. I worry sometimes that this shift in the monochromatic will be a permanent side effect of (almost) turning thirty, but time will tell. I still very much love my colours, but I’ve definitely not been as adventurous as I was in art school. :(
