Farewell Flowers at UCLA
Bending my knees to achieve a more aesthetic height level.
I got roped into being photographer for Ela’s farewell photoshoot after work one day. It was slightly awkward, because Nano was in the area taking a break and he saw me setting up a tripod at the sculpture garden at UCLA, being all posey with Ela, Lilli, and Ssen. So embarrassing. But if taking pictures of myself for the past five years has done anything, it’s the semi-decent ability to tune out other people after a while. I also found myself in the position of directing poses for shots, which was a little out of my comfort zone because I don’t tend to talk that much when around the camera… at least I had some experience with Yuunsama’s pre-wedding photoshoot all those years back!
Anyway, Lilli had handmade these wonderful crepe paper roses for the occasion, with one for Ela as a farewell gift to pursue her medicine studies in New York. So pretty! I miss all the DIY the apartment got to doing.
