Chasing Flowers on West Coast
We drove up to chase spring flowers that had bloomed early in the winter at Yzerfontein one day. We could have driven further up north to find more, but there was a braai to be had later in the afternoon. In any case, the beach faces the South Atlantic Ocean, which was pretty cool, especially since the skies were all grey and thick with the promise of rain (looks like my rain-printed tights were on the dot with the weather forecast).
As you can see, IÂ took way too many panoramic shots of the dreamy landscape:
I also couldn’t resist taking the time for another outfit shoot, even though this was on the same day as this outfit post:
I broke out my Nine West satchel for this trip! This beauty was bought with a voucher I won for best-dressed back when Ottie and I went for the Nine West SS15 show. I didn’t have to pay a single cent, which was awesome. I love the bold colour; I love bold anything, actually.
More gratuitous pictures of myself, because it would be a shame not to at this place.
Totally showing off my lovely phoenix kimono cardigan courtesy of Dressin!
I’d have visited in a mermaid outfit if I could.
Some more snaps from our trip to Darling, because I missed them out in the last post:
We specially went out to get firewood so that we could toast marshmallows by the fireplace. It was the perfect way to spend the night (and a bottle of wine).
Couldn’t have asked for a more idyllic way to spend the day.
