Bevy C. Super Hydro

Singapore may be hot and humid all year long, but we compensate for the weather by artificially freezing our asses off indoors. This undoubtedly causes major dry skin, so when I was contacted to review the Bevy C. Super Hydro collection a month ago, it was just ideal to remedy the effects of me subjecting myself to an air-conditioned work and home environment while feeling my makeup cake under the stress.

Bevy C. originates from Taiwan and specializes in pre-makeup skincare. Their products do not use alcohol, artficial colouring, or parabens, and go through an intensive testing for skin allergies before being brought out for public consumption. Each product from the Super Hydro collection also smells so soothing and not cloying at all, while maintaining a distinct smell from each other. They claim to include 8 essential amino acids in order to hydrate, improve dullness, and enhance skin radiance while maintaining a non-greasy texture. It was too bad that the smell can’t translate over my photos and video! I highly recommend smelling them out if you visit their counter at NEX Isetan.

My face feels as smooth as a baby’s butt after almost two months dedicated to slathering my face with the collection!

Here are some screenshots showing off the three products in the collection:

Super Hydro Lotion

I slap this on my face after cleansing every morning and night. The lotion comes in a 130ml bottle and is the least viscous, bordering on watery, which makes it ideal as a face mask by soaking cotton pads with the lotion before placing them on the dry areas for 3 to 5 mins in order to really get some moisture in.

Ingredients include Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) leaf extract, Royal Jelly extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) fruit extract.

Super Hydro Elixir

The elixir comes in a smaller 30ml pump bottle and immediately follows the lotion in my hydrating regime. It’s slightly more viscous and whiter than the lotion. I primarily concentrate this on the dry areas of my face, such as the area under my eyes and chin.

Ingredients include Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil.

Super Hydro Cream

To be honest, creams are too much hassle for me to include in my daily regime, since there’s the issue of having to keep track of the spatula and all that manual opening of the bottle instead of simply pumping it out. However, I do see the upside to using creams at night before sleeping, or especially when traveling overseas to drier climates. This 30g bottle also smells so good, and the stickiness upon application dissipates quickly, leaving my skin feeling lighter while moisturised.

Ingredients include Glycine Soja (Soybean) seed extract, Honey extract, Macademia Temifolia Seed Oil, and Royal Jelly extract. Yea I’m only interested in edible ingredients in my skincare products.

Bevy C. Super Hydro Cream

All in all, I’ve been loving the Super Hydro collection and have been using it religiously. My pores have even smoothened out along the sides of my nose, under my eyes, and on my chin! Those areas have always been plagued with dry skin, but I had never noticed just how dry the areas were until I saw a positive effect on my face using this series. They’re definitely coming with me to my next overseas trip… unless the very real possibility of me emptying the bottles before I even start planning my next trip occurs.

Oh and here’s an outfit photo taken from my video:
