Beauty & the Beasts
My mew neighbourhood, – and that started as a typo but I’m going to leave it be because the pun is strong with me today – is home to a substantial number of cats that get fed by a resident cat lady who leaves food out at designated times of the day. We stumbled upon her during our first week exploring our new surroundings. Some of the cats regularly laze about my block, but this was the first time that I noticed this ugly cat in the area. Look at that mean face! So adorable <3
My beautiful platinum silver Hera Hair Comb and Mr. Ugly Cat.
Here’s another cat sunbathing in the morning sun and totally not minding my presence.
As I mentioned in my Irresistible Me Sneak Peek post, sticking this beautiful hair comb on the side of my head proved to be an awkward move. My hair is naturally straight and kinda silky, so it doesn’t support hair combs in its natural state at all. Combs just… fall towards wherever gravity commands it to. Even a hair bun secured with a pen doesn’t stay up for long! I like my hair, but sometimes it can get frustrating. This hair comb will definitely stay up if I tie my hair in a bun though! Will have to show it off all proper next time.
Meanwhile, here’s a simple monochrome outfit punctuated with a pair of red socks that don’t get enough wear because I’m afraid that they will die an early death due to too much washing and then I’ll never be able to find it again. Also, one of my favourite Forever 21 buys – this thick skater dress with half sleeves that is just perfect in cut and material.
Cats, bling, and pretty wearables make me happy.
This cat has had enough of my nonsense.
