Beautiful Isis
It’s a sad realisation to type in the words ‘Isis’ onto Google only to have it come back with the militant group that has gained notoriety over the years. While I don’t know much about Egyptian mythology, I do know that Isis was originally an Egyptian goddess. Known to be a patron of nature and magic, according to Wikipedia. I guess this name isn’t going to be popular for a while.
This outfit was mentioned in my Irresistible Me sneak peek post a while back. I don’t usually wear hairbands; I find them constricting and they tend to shift off my head when I chew my food. I don’t know if anyone else experiences these problems with hairbands? I certainly do. (#bigheadproblems) However, this hairband certainly caught my eye, and I couldn’t resist its lure from the website. I guess you could say that it’s… irresistible.
I decided to tie my hair up in a high ponytail with some multicolour hair ties from Luxola, hoping that it would serve to secure the hairband on my head. Was frankly a little surprised when it worked so well! I even jumped so much for the shoot because I was so pleased about catching this awesome golden hour and having my hair defy gravity despite my subconscious efforts to sabotage it.
I need to catch more of these pretty sunlight scenes.
