Here is another collaboration with DressLink! My previous post on DressLink mentioned about all the awesome discounts that the site provides, so this time, I decided to see just how far I could stretch the proverbial dollar. My current styling of the white chiffon backless sleeveless top was snagged through their daily USD$0.01 specials – such a steal! I ended up getting five items within USD$20 – USD$19.33, to be exact, inclusive of USD$5.81 for registered shipping. Is this the real life?! In any case, I’m excited to be showing off the rest of my latest bargains soon. Here, have a peek of my goodies:
DressLink haul: black lace masquerade mask, floral print batwing kimono, grey knit crop tank top, white chiffon backless top, and professional eyelash curler.
Extra stuff I love and decided to add in the picture: vintage Oscar de la Renta signature perfume & vintage gold rose brooch.
Anyway, we finally found the mural that I had been searching for in my new neighbourhood. The Band of Doodlers embarked on this 7 metre wall around March this year as part of an arts initiative with the National Arts Council; taking motifs from its surroundings and translated them into happy, cute doodles. I’m glad that Ottie and I finally found the place where it lies! For a while I thought that I had merely imagined glimpsing this piece along the road. As it turns out, my lack of spatial recognition caused me to turn in the opposite direction of where I needed to go the last time I went in search of it. Here I am pleased as punch to finally get an outfit photo with this as a backdrop.
My hotdog socks. I styled them for a totally different white-on-white look here.
