All About Shopbop
Today is an exciting day! If you’ve noticed your favourite stores holding epic sales and can’t yet figure out why, this is because Black Friday is upon us- it’s the day to score some sweet deals for your Christmas shopping or, if you’re a heathen like me, the perfect opportunity to buy more things for yourself.
Carpe diem!
Anyway, I’m super excited to be one of the first to let my readers be in the know about Shopbop’s epic week-long sale! It’s their biggest sale of the year which lasts from now (yes, right now) through Monday December 1, 11:59 pm (PT). That’s Tuesday December 2, 3:59 pm if you’re in Singapore like me.
The discounts are tiered in such a way that you save more the more you spend, so you could either grab your friends to make a group purchase or go solo for that luxury item you’ve been eyeing.

On to my outfit, I’m decked in all-Shopbop for the holidays, after I had to return and exchange this pair of Dav Liverpool Rain Booties for a size up. The easy international returns of Shopbop is very straightforward, although international customers are charged with a flat fee of 35 USD for fuss-free DHL shipping. The amount was deducted from my refund for another pair of boots that I returned and did not re-purchase, so that was cool. This was the first time I had to do a return with Shopbop, and while it initially stressed me out what with this being an overseas ordeal, it turned out to be just me being me, worrying myself to death over nothing.
Anyway, I love how this collaboration with Shopbop recently has allowed me to experiment with styles I’d not have normally tried, reflected in my sexy harm pants here. I love how daring the slits are against the draped soft jersey material. Also, this was the first time that I went over to the brother site, East Dane, for some accessories. I recently bought a smaller replacement laptop and have been keeping an eye out for a sleeve that fits, and this awesome dinosaur sleeve from pijama definitely hit the mark for me. Dinosaurs are for girls too! My favourite dinosaur as a kid was the Triceratops, because it liked vegetables and had horns.
My mismatched socks hail from East Dane as well, a clever pair featuring half dots from Happy Socks. Love them!
